DocumentationUpdating Your Plan

How to Update Your plan

You can upgrade or downgrade your VidRush plan anytime through the Billing & Subscription page in your account settings.

This process is fully handled through Stripe’s secure Billing Portal.

  1. Go to Settings → Billing & Subscription
From the left sidebar, open Settings, then select Billing & Subscription.
    You’ll see details such as:

    • Your current plan name
    • Next renewal date
    • Credit balance and usage details
    • Upcoming payment information
  2. Click “Manage Billing”
In the top-right corner, click the blue Manage Billing button.
⚠️ If you currently have Pay-As-You-Go enabled, you’ll first see a notice preventing access to the Billing Portal until it’s deactivated.

  3. Deactivate Pay-As-You-Go (if active)
Scroll down to the Pay-As-You-Go section.

    • Toggle the yellow switch off.
    • Click Save Changes.
A confirmation pop-up will appear in the bottom-right corner once the update is complete.
  4. Access the Billing Portal
Once Pay-As-You-Go is turned off, click Manage Billing again.
You’ll be redirected to the official Stripe Billing Portal, where you can review:

    • Your current plan and credits
    • Payment method
    • Invoice history
  5. Click “Update Subscription”
In the Billing Portal, look at the top-right corner — you’ll see two buttons:

    • 🟣 Update Subscription (purple)
    • ⚪ Cancel Subscription (white)
  6. Select a New Plan
Choose your desired package. You can upgrade or downgrade — both are supported.

    • When selected, the button will change to “Selected.”
    • Click Continue to proceed.
  7. Confirm Your Change
On the confirmation page, review the new plan details, pricing, and prorated amount.
Click Confirm → Subscribe and Pay to finalize.

đź’° About Prorated Billing

Vidrush automatically applies prorated adjustments when you switch plans mid-cycle.
This ensures you only pay (or receive credit) for the unused portion of your previous plan.

If you upgrade mid-cycle:

  • Your new plan activates immediately.
  • Credits adjust proportionally for the remaining days in the billing period.
  • Your next billing cycle resets on the regular renewal date.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • 🧮 Credits do not roll over between plans — balances reset after billing adjustments.
  • ⚡ Pay-As-You-Go must be turned off before changing plans.
  • đź’ł All plan changes are securely handled through the Stripe Billing Portal.
