Quick Start Guide

Reminder: The video above shows a VidRush build from approximately two months ago. The fundamentals are still correct, but some UI elements or features may look slightly different today.

Recent update since then: Prompt control improvements

You now have more control over generation directly from the initial prompt:

  • You can include visual planning (what kind of footage you want). This is still being tested, so don’t rely on it for perfect results yet.
  • You can add research instructions (what to research, what angles to focus on), and you can include links you want researched.
  • You can provide exact hook lines without using a custom script. Example: Use this following line/lines as exact hook content, don’t change anything: …
  • You can mention templates to use or avoid, but template control is not working reliably yet.

Prompt checker note: It may still warn you about the items above. You can ignore those warnings for now.

Additional improvements

  • VidRush now limits the same footage to a maximum of 2 uses to reduce repeated visuals (especially repeated images).
  • Fixes for custom scripts (complex content + missing sections) have been improved.

Soon: A-rolls are ready and currently being tested in development. With the Pro model you’ll be able to enable A-rolls (collage hooks + 3–4 A-roll segments throughout the video).

VidRush turns your topic or script into a fully edited, YouTube-ready video. You provide the idea. VidRush handles the script, narration, visuals, and editing.

This page shows you how to get your first video out without wasting credits.
