Refund Policy

⚠️ Refund Policy

To keep our pricing competitive and sustainable, Vidrush maintains a strict refund policy regarding generation quality.

Generative AI is inherently probabilistic. Just as you do not get a refund from Midjourney if you don’t like the image, or from ElevenLabs if it mispronounces a word, you are paying for the generation process and computing power, not a guaranteed perfect creative result.

❌ What We Do NOT Refund (Creative Mismatches)

We cannot issue refunds for minor imperfections or creative disagreements that can be fixed in the editor.

  • “Nitpicks”: 1-3 mismatched B-roll clips in a 20-minute video.
  • Pronunciation: A single mispronounced name or word (this is a limitation of the TTS models).
  • Spelling: Minor text errors in motion graphics templates.
  • Style Preferences: You expected a specific editing style (e.g., “Vox-style”) but got a standard documentary style.
  • Bad Prompts: If your prompt was vague or violated the “Footage Availability Test” (e.g., asking for a video about a local event with no footage), the poor result is due to the input, not the system.

The Fix: If your video is 90% good but has a few bad clips, do not ask for a refund. Use the Video Editor to swap out those specific clips manually. This is the intended workflow.

✅ What We DO Refund (Technical Failures)

We will happily refund credits for genuine system failures where the tool did not perform its function.

  • Major Voice Corruption: Huge Voice Sections with very loud volume or hallucination
  • Corrupted Renders: The final video file is unplayable or has severe artifacts (e.g., black screen for 50% of the video).
  • Major Hallucinations: Entire sections of the video (e.g., 80%+) have absolutely no relevance to the script or are missing B-roll/Voiceover entirely due to a bug.
  • Duration Errors: The video generated was significantly shorter than what you selected (e.g., you paid for 20 mins but got 5 mins due to a bug).

How to Request a Technical Refund

If your video meets the Technical Failure criteria:

  1. Contact support via Discord.
  2. Provide the Video ID or Link + Vidrush Mail.
  3. Explain the specific technical error.
  4. Note: Please do not abuse this policy. Frequent refund requests for non-technical issues may result in account restrictions.
